New Smyrna Beach, January 2011 – the Multiple Listing Service (MLS)* shows 613 single-family homes sold in 2010 compared to 483 single-family homes a year ago for a 26.5 percent increase. The existing home median sales price was $145,000; a year ago, it was $156,000 for a 7 percent decrease.
A total of 195 condominiums sold in 2010 compared to 203 a year ago for a 3.9 percent decrease. The median price was $232,500; a year earlier, it was $225,000 for a 3.3 percent increase.
